I think that the main difference between the last year and half and the rest of my life is that I no linger have the time and space to dream. ‘Tasks’ have squeezed the time out of this, making life quite a bit more serious. I used to day-dream so much, and maybe it was damaging in the long run, but it was what put the spaces between an otherwise mush of endlessly repetitive days.
